The tie string is very week and prone to knitting when tiring the trunks. I have to rely on a bow knot which I wouldn’t trust if diving or in high pressure water. A regular knot goes so tight it takes time to undo. And that leads to the panic of not getting them off after a session!

The draw string is narrow and can be difficult to adjust. If it knots when wet it may be necessary to cut the string before removal. Always ensure the knot is fully undone when removed to avoid double knotting next time the trunks are worn.
