- Good Points
- Light weight and has a view finder which was an important factor for me. Manufacturers have dropped viewfinders apart from on high end models. Records onto internal memory or Memory Stick. Easy to download onto a computer.
- Bad Points
- Don't buy if you want decent quality stills. Only of use in an emergency. Quality of Video not quite as good as my old JVC Mini DV recorder but a lot more versatile. Excellent zoom.

- Good Points
- Compact and lightweight but not too small. Easy to navigate around menus using intuative touch screen. Reversible screen is useful. Being able to record to internal memory and then burn to DVD addresses my fears that DVDs might skip or footage might be lost whilst recording live time on DVD. Very easy to connect for TV playback with supplied leads.
- Bad Points
- None so far regarding actual product but concerned that DVD recording is deemed to be an obsolete format so planning to stock up on plenty re-write DVDs just in case.

- No remote control with it, so when you want to review the film you have to be on your hands and knees in front of the tv instead of being with family and friends.
Long range shots are unstaedy.
No special effects for film making.
The front of camera very plasticy and bits fall off.
