- Good Points
- Much more cosmopolitan than it used to be - wide range of cultural and leisure opportunities. There are plenty of theatres, an excellent arthouse cinema in Cornerhouse and an abundance of bars and restaurants - would recommend Jamie Oliver's Italian and Sam's Chop House. Super grub, unpretentious and honest. Typically Northern.

- Great city, people, shopping and plenty of restaurants and bars to choose

- If you are going to a meal at night - make sure you book in plenty of time. We booked during the day at a popular restaurant only to be turned away as they were too busy. However, ended up finding a fantastic grill/bar which was a better ending for us!

- There certainly is a diversity in Manchester in respect of venues and the hotel is central to them all.
- Bad Points
- Manchester unfortunatley is a dirty, filthy city (which has nothing to do with the hotel)and you expect to see a rat at every corner. Having stayed in luxurious accomodation, to then walk out in the centre, is a very poor reflection on City Centre Life and poor quality buildings which are unclean and unkempt and boarded up.
