Good Points
Overall, I'm very pleased with this product and it was a very reasonable price and feels well built compared to some of the flimsier items of the same price.
Sound volume is certainly very reasonable from such a small item and I'm sure it's subwoofer helps with that, I'd like to be able to control the bass, but honestly how many alarm clocks let you do that? It's brought an old 3rd generation ipod (i refuse to capitalise the 'p' in apple products) back to life. If I'd an iphone it would be my default charger and I wish I could slot my ipad in it.
Bad Points
As an alarm clock I find the display a little difficult to read, no problems with the back lighting but the numerals are a little faint (it doesn't have the dark background and bright numerals like the image used on the website). I'd also like the buttons to be illuminated to make them easier to see in the dark.

the volume issue

GB 6
Good Points
The sound quality and it looks good.
Bad Points
Although the unit is easy to use the alarms default to volume level 16 whenever they come on even if I've reduced the volume beforehand. That volume is simply far too loud. I've checked the user guide but can't find any help on this particular issue.

Good Points
Sound reproduction from iPod and 1 tuneable radio station is good.
Bad Points
Need to learn how to program the functions as they are not obvious. Weak radio reception, was able to tune in only 3 programmes, 1 wihout interference. Time was almost invisible viewing at low level (e.g. pillow). After exchanging found same problems with second.

Good Points
Great quality of sound and great design. Works really well and is simple in its use.
Bad Points
Without an ipod/iphone plugged in there is some buzzing. And it doesn't always connect to the device which then involves removing the device to try again.

Good Points
Looks good, sound quality is good for the price. Looks more expensive than it is. Value for money.
Bad Points
Not the most straightforward to set the time/day without having to check the instruction manual. That's only a minor point though.

Good Points
Aesthetically nice. Sound quality is pretty good
Bad Points
display is too bright for night use, even though there is a dimmer function.
the power supply is not silent. In a quiet bedroom you can distinctly hear a very high pitched pulsing coming from the unit.
Unable to set the alarm volume. It always comes on at a set level which is so loud that light sleepers will probably hit their heads on the ceiling.
