Good Points
Can help to make light work of a difficult job.
Bad Points
If on full, it can automatically shut down until it cools down enough to restart, which can take up to five minutes each time. This is a safety feature though. To avoid so many cut outs don't use it turned up to max. Use it at 3/4's. This helps a lot.

Good Points
Easy to use, ergonmic and the variable heat control setting means that most tasks can be completed without damaging the workpiece. Good selection of nozzles for completing different tasks
Bad Points
Heater element broke after about 1 - 1.5 years usage.
Plastic guard around the nozzle is too loose and often makes contact with the metal body where it melts and sticks, but doesn't affect overall performance.
