Good Points
Comparing against the stands I had before which where a pair of Atacama, they give a warmer sound and extended the soundstage and don't add any negative effects to your chosen spearers ( mine are PMC).
Bad Points
Some people may be put off by their look , which I love, and these stands take a bit of time getting in the right postion for the best results but it's worth the effort.

Good Points
Well-built, sturdy, allow superb sound from speakers.
Bad Points
Perhaps slightly too big for my speakers (PMC DB1i), but that's not a general criticism.

Good Points
As many professional reviews testify, I've found my Super Dreadnoughts really do enhance the acoustics of the two B&W CM1 speakers I bought to go with these stands. They are well made and their solid bottom & top plates make them quite heavy out of the box. The hollow support tubes, each with a removable rubber bung, can be filled if needs be. Compared with both their cheaper and dearer Partington siblings, these mid-priced speaker stands are great value for money.
Bad Points
Had to go out and buy some blue-tack to mount the CM1's on the stands. Can't Partington supply some!
